OPG is short for orthopantomogram, also known as orthopantogram or panorex. This is a digital device used to record a panoramic 2D view of your mouth.

OPG uses x-Ray technology to produce the panoramic views. This equipment is extremely safe for both the patient and the dental professional.

Digital OPG is very helpful to our dentists – it allows us to see every aspect of your mouth. This includes, your roots, wisdom teeth, and sinuses. Digital OPG is helpful to your dentist as a means to perform dental x rays, mouth x rays, and teeth xrays.
